The production of yogurt from “vegan soy milk” is known to be a somewhat more difficult undertaking and usually succeeds only in relatively thin consistency. Following a conventional recipe:


  • Make soy drink with your VEGAN STAR as usual.
  • Cool the “vegan soy milk” to 42 degrees (thermometer!) And keep it at this temperature (on stove or in a water bath).
  • Stir in yogurt cultures as instructed.
  • The vegan milk is then left to stand “hand-warm” – preferably covered with a thick cloth.

This yogurt made from a soy drink is a bit thinner than regular yogurt. It is also great as a salad dressing or sweetened with jam.
