Such a cream soup with cereals can be enjoyed all year round. The grain is particularly storable and can therefore be used all year round and the cream soup is great as a starter. The fresh chives that go into this cream soup are in season from May to October, but are also available frozen at any time.
- 100 g grain purée *
- 300 ml water
- 1 teaspoon vegetable soup spices
- fresh chives
First bring the water with the soup seasoning to boil. Then add the cereal purée and mix. Season the cream soup if you like. Wash the fresh chives, chop finely and stir into the soup or use part of it as a topping.
