Make vegan bounty by yourself

Who doesn’t like the heavenly mix of coconut and chocolate? For those with a sweet tooth, we have a great new recipe today! These vegan coconut bars are very easy to prepare and they really taste incredibly good.

Ingredients

  • 100 g coconut flakes
  • 100 g vegan yogurt (soy or coconut)
  • 50 g birch sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 100 g cooking chocolate
  • 2 teaspoon of coconut oil

Preparation

First grind the desiccated coconut together with the birch sugar and the salt (and the vanilla powder) in a blender. Then add the yoghurt and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture. If this is too juicy or too dry, you can add more desiccated coconut or yogurt, depending on the situation.

Then form small bars and place them in the freezer for at least 40 minutes. Then melt the cooking chocolate with the oil (preferably in a water bath). Cover the bars with the chocolate or dip them in the chocolate. Freeze the coconut bars again for at least 10 minutes.

Now you can enjoy your homemade vegan bounty and store the rest in the freezer (or in the fridge).
